Young Ladies of Distinction Visit Rosalind Franklin UniversityWe would like to thank the staff and students at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science for hosting the Young Ladies of Distinction, a student group from Abbott Middle School in Waukegan, on an educational and memorable tour of their campus! College field trips are an initiative under our Stay In School Program that focuses on helping youth and their families overcome barriers to graduation. Summer Internship Opportunities At United WayLooking for opportunities to keep your kids busy during their summer break? United Way offers several hands-on internship opportunities for college students, working both in our office and in the community. Better Together Families Participate In Baby Yoga SessionOur Better Together Program, an initiative developed to increase the services available for North Chicago families with children birth to 3-years-old, recently held a special yoga session. You won’t want to miss the adorable photos and video we were able to capture. Better Together is made possible through the joint support and effort of the Green Bay Early Childhood Center, Women United of Lake County and our Success By 6 Program.
