Since its inception in 2014, donors at this event have raised more than $1.8 million. The money raised has supported United Way’s education programming that prepares children to succeed in Lake County and our 211 helpline, which connects individuals and families to local health and human services. - Power of the Purse
Women United's signature fundraising event brings over 200 women together to raise money for early childhood education programming.

United Way of Lake County's 211 is a free and confidential helpline that can be easily accessed 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The helpline is available to everyone in Lake County and is a one-stop shop for a wide range of local resources. 211 connects individuals and families to highly-trained, multilingual experts for personal assistance to improve and save lives. - Women United
Your sponsorship will help underwrite the costs of Women United and ensure that more dollars go directly to local early education programs. Leaders United is a caring group of young professionals committed to generosity and volunteerism in Lake County, IL. Women of Color: United in Leadership is Women United's year-long cohort-based program that provides networking, community service, leadership, social and mentorship opportunities by engaging and developing Lake County's women of color who demonstrate leadership potential.
