Leaders In Giving
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” -Winston Churchill
United Way of Lake County recognizes individuals who give $1,000 or more annually as Leadership Givers. The generosity of all donors, including Leadership Givers, creates opportunities for a better life for all of us in Lake County.
Consider becoming a Leadership Giver at one of these levels:
Tocqueville Society ($10,000+ annually)
Platinum ($7,500 to $9,999 annually)
Gold ($5,000 to $7,499 annually)
Silver ($2,500 to $4,999 annually)
Bronze Plus ($1,500 to $2,499 annually)
Bronze ($1,000 to $1,499 annually)
Benefits of being a Leadership Giver:
- Personalized Engagement: Leadership Givers receive more personalized communication and engagement, including but not limited to updates on the impact of their donations, invitations to meet with program staff, and opportunities to provide input on the organization's strategic direction.
- Stewardship and Impact Reports: Leadership Givers receive detailed reports on how their contributions are making a difference, like the annual report and the President’s Newsletter. These reports offer transparency and accountability, helping donors see the tangible outcomes of their support.
- Invitations to Exclusive Events: Leadership Givers are invited to attend special events, the Premier Leaders Event and Women United’s Power of the Purse. These events can provide a deeper understanding of United Way’s work and impact.
- Increased Impact: Leadership Givers have a more significant impact on United Way’s mission and programs. Their larger contributions allow United Way to undertake more extensive projects, serve more individuals, and invest in critical initiatives.
