Meet the Interns: Monica Carrasco
We are excited to welcome Monica Carrasco, our newest Success By 6 intern! We love getting to introduce new people to the work we do at United Way of Lake County. As part of our Success By 6 team, Monica will work to ensure kids in Lake County receive Kindergarten Readiness Calendars to support learning at home, provide assistance to the Better Together program that guides parents to learn skills on how to be their child’s first teacher, assist with Kindergarten Countdown Camp to help incoming kindergarteners with little to no preschool experience be better prepared before they start school in the fall, and she will become an Early Reading Success Tutor in the Waukegan School District. Join us in welcoming Monica!
