Meet the Interns: Humera Khaleel
We are excited to welcome Humera Khaleel, one of our newest interns! We love getting to introduce new people to the work we do at United Way of Lake County. As part of our Success By 6 team, Humera will be working with the Early Learning Clubs, Bright By Text, and Kindergarten Readiness Calendars. Join us in welcoming Humera!
Where do you go to school, what is your major, and when will you graduate?
I am a senior at Northeastern Illinois University. My major is in social work and I hope to graduate in the spring of 2022.

I’m from Waukegan, IL.
What is your favorite type of food?
A good crispy chicken burger!
Do you have any pets?
I have two cats. One male tabby named Kai, and a calico female tabby named Oreoz.

Any songs from BTS!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love watching sitcoms in my free time. I love to read and sketch here and there. I also write poetry.
