We help students stay on track to graduation and provide them with critical support and resources to succeed in school, work and life.
Students who graduate with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to be successful in postsecondary education and/or a career are more engaged in their communities, and are more likely to raise children who also graduate.
Many students aren’t grade level ready in math and literacy and lack access to resources for social emotional learning. Students can thrive with access to one-on-one mentorship, information about STEM and related careers, and guidance in the areas that will make them successful in school and beyond.
United Way of Lake County has created three initiatives within Youth Success: Parent Mentors, Career Exploration and Breakfast Club.
Students received mentorship in academics, social emotional support, and guidance on skills needed to succeed in school and life.
